“People are often surprised when they hear me say, “if you can only give up one animal product: Get off dairy.” I find most people think dairy is the “best of the worst” — it’s not nearly as “bad” as other animal products. That couldn’t be further from the truth.”
Good, short article about how dairy affects your health.

Dear meat-eaters,
Let me disclose my conflict of interest right now. I eat meat, and too much of it. I’ve also been a horribly malinformed consumer of meat for most of my life. I typically haven’t known where my meat came from or how it was treated. The thing is that this is probably the typical experience for Americans (and, likely in other countries as well).
What I’m not saying is that eating meat is inherently bad (though I’ve met some vegans that disagree with me on that point, and I respect that they believe differently than I do even if I don’t necessarily agree). I’m not saying that vegans/vegetarians are the best people in the world, nor am I saying that they are the worst. They’re people. We’re all people.
If you’re a meat-eater that is okay with vegans and vegetarians, kudos. That’s fantastic and our professional high-five-giver is waiting for you over there.
However, if you feel the need to pick on vegans/vegetarians (even if you feel it’s in defense of how you’ve been treated), or if you’d just like to be an informed consumer of meats that were produced humanely, I want you to read on.
